I find it difficult to express my gratitude for the past three years with so many people supporting me for my PhD. I also find it difficult to say goodbye to HTC, to Philips and to my beloved colleagues and friends.
Everything shall come to an end and I could not imagine a better way to spend the past three years. I want to particularly thank my teammates for supporting me during many low periods. I could not have reached this point without you.
I remembered how excited I was when I got the offer and how long I pondered until one of my supervisors called me and told me if I do not accept the offer on the day, they are going to give the offer to someone else.
I remembered thinking I could not have moved on from who I was and in the end could not find myself more different from three years ago.
I met so many people and many had touched me to the deepest of my heart and I regret having to say goodbye in this way.
In this world full of turmoils and uncertainties, I am grateful that I met you.
After so many sleepless nights, I can say I lived.
